Dr. Poovey graduated magna cum laude from Boston University's Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he was voted the number one clinical graduate of his class. He brought that training to the Western Slope and has spent his career here since.

Dr. Poovey is joined at A New You by Dr. Kristen Yant, DMD, MS, a board-certified periodontist. It means the two questions that decide most complex cases — can this tooth be saved, and will there be enough bone — get answered together in one appointment rather than becoming two separate opinions.
